Shirovasthi

In the upright sitting position a ten inch cylindrical shaped leather cap is fitted on the head of the patient without any leaking. Then warm medicated oil is poured in to the head for around 30-45 mins depending on the type of individual, later the head is wiped with a clean cotton cloth.
